The PAD (Public Access Defibrillator) 300P device can be used for SCA victims from the age of 8 and above utilizing the Adult Pad Pak. For smaller children the PAD 300P has a special Paediatric Pad Pak available. HeartSine offers the only device to incorporate the Electrodes and Battery into one cassette for ease of use and the reduction of downtime following deployment.
The PAD 300P is maintenance free as are all HeartSine devices. If you want an annual safety check on the device this can be carried out.

UNRIVALLED CPR QUALITY AND FEEDBACK WITH THE INNOVATIVE PAD 500P
The "shock" is just a measure to improve the victim's chance of surviving. After having given the initial shock if the patient does not respond CPR has to be carried out. No matter if you are a layman or a professional rescuer: 70% of all CPR is carried out inadequately!
We have designed the HeartSine PAD 500P to meet the challenge of assisting in the provision of effective CPR alongside life saving defibrillation and so help improve patient outcomes!
The PAD 500P system monitors and informs the user regarding quality of CPR delivery.
For example it will give specific guidance, informing if CPR should be "Faster, Slower, Deeper", depending on how the CPR is being performed.
When good CPR is being performed the device tells the user of "Good compressions" and continues to monitor and support.
No additional costs are required for special electrodes, or additional equipment as it utilizes the same Adult and Paediatric Pad-Paks as the PAD 300P. The rescuer is informed visually and verbally as to whether the CPR carried out is sufficiently and effectively.

The PAD 300P trainer provides 8 pre-recorded rescue training scenarios, without delivering an actual shock. 4 scenarios follow European Resuscitation Council 2005 Guidelines, and 4 scenarios follow ERC 2000 guidelines. 
The device mirrors the actual Samaritan PAD so users can familiarize themselves with controls, pads access, installation of a mock Pad-Pak™ (or Trainer-Pak™ available in accessories) - all with authentic prompts and displays. Includes a PAUSE function so the educator can pause the automated scenario and offer additional training without interruption. Each system includes a rechargeable battery, charger, user manual, and sample training pads. A training system with remote control is also available.
